OK... maybe I'm losing my mind, but anyone with a 710 and a T3 care to give this a shot and see if it works for you?
I was just goofing around and went into the phone link software. I initiated a bluetooth pairing between my phone and the T3. Then I went in and thought "I'll just select the first phone in the list..." I selected an Ericsson model T68 as my phone and told it to communicate via Bluetooth. I then set up my network sevice using the phone#@vzw3g.com (For verizon wireless) and dialed #777 with a password of vzw. I use these settings all the time with my laptop via the 710 and it works great. I clicked on connect and bam, my phone shows packet data and allows me to surf the web via my T3. I've done it twice now, so I don't think I'm hallucinating. I just didn't think that an Ericsson selection would let me link with a Motorola phone.
Anyone else done this or similar? I just want to make sure I don't get locked online and get a huge overage for data minutes
