Jesus. God help us all if Sony buys Palm. Give them a year and they'll kill the Palm Developer Community. What could possibly be the problem with getting different audio player options on the Clie? I've never seen a company that so willingly shoots itself in the foot, ahem, except for Palm itself of course.

Sony doesn't shoot anyone. They just know that the competitors don't offer this style and unique quality. So they can do without fearing anyone dropping their products. 'cause of the great sum of fans.
One reason I bought a Clie was to know that if I had to resell it I would get a decent amount of money for it, only because of the brand not on the product.
Sure there are many good products out there- and again there are some crappy ones, but they are seldom compared to the great numbers of products(and their short lifetime!)

And hey the guest is right: some people are quite impolite if you post something again just you couldn't find the previous post.

No matter what apps you load onto it - be they good, or bad, the Clie is STILL a great piece of hardware.

Like other PalmOS licencees, Sony shold open up the platform to developers beyond what they have done now. Software innovation rarely comes from a company that needs to overcome internal intertia and preset corporate ideas - it comes form the little people (and thne the corps buy them out - just look at Microsoft :)).

no maater what happen, the Clie is still the most progressive piece of PalmOs hardware on the market, and is far more advanced than many of PPC competitors as well.

So true. If people are tired of answering the same questions, then ignore them. I don't remember anyone's arms being twisted to answer every freakin' question.

It seems to me your the one getting snotty?

If the origianl poster would read up a little on what they originally posted, then they wouldn't have needed to post.

All I did was give a straight forward answer, I am sorry if some can't comprehend the meaning of the word no :mad:!

When this thread originally started, the original discussion on RealOne and our emphatic "we tried it, it doesn't work on the Clie" response was on the first page of threads. It did not take a click on "search" to find the results, all it took was for someone to open there eyes and actually read some info first.

I think if the same thread was started to day, the answer would have been more along the lines of ... "We talked about this earlier last week. You might like to check out this thread here."

BTW - Pompous is flaming a poster while posting as an anonymous guest. At least be man (or woman) enough to put a name to your convictions. YVMV.

What ever we may feel about Sony, they do make a good product. Of all the PDA out there, I think the NX70v is the best in terms of size, function and looks. But it could be better. So Sony stop preventing this from being a great PDA.
