Help! Broken NX60 screen

I slipped on some ice outside and fell. My brand new Cie NX60 was in my purse and fell too. The screen has multiple cracks and is unreadable on the bottom 1/2! Does anyone know how to get it repaired, or where to get an estimate? My credit card company might cover it (buyers' assuarance), but wants an estimate to decide whether they will either replace or repair it. Does Sony do repairs? Where can I get an estimate?

I love the NX60, but it's terribly fragile. The fall wasn't that far.

Its rugged but fragile in some situations.

wow...sorry about your screen...i did have a question though...you said it was in your purse right?...just out of curiosity was it in clam shape mode (closed in the clam shape)....also did you fall right on top of it?...i mean i know they aren't tanks are anything but i would have figured if it was closed then the screen wouldn't be affected since the metal surronding it would just press against the keyboard....maybe not...interesting to know though

Do you have an extended warranty or extra coverage? Some of those plans are a little more liberal.

I think someone else said Sony had charged them $260.00 for repairs.

With the way my mind is, I wouldn't swear to it.

I just called sony about my nx70 and they quoted me $180 for shipping, repair, blah blah blah...that blows. so im stuck with no clie.
