Game Controller Question

A couple of questions to those of you who use the Sony Game Controller with your CLIE...

1. Does leaving the game controller driver switched on affect the battery life of the CLIE?

2. Does leaving the game controller driver switched on affect the Hot Sync capabilities of the CLIE?

1) Not that I have noticed.

2) Well... it shouldn't but sometimes it does, and I get this Port in Use error. I usually have it turned off except when I wanna play a game that uses it 'tho.

(This is on a TH55 BTW)

Thanks... makes sense and sense I've got the GC driver software mapped via HiLauncher, it's relatively easy to get to stylus free...
