Anybody tried copying the english TH apps to VZ to make some of the apps in English? If yes, which apps can work in VZ and which apps won't work?

Thanks.

the app "clie-files" (from my tj37) works fine on vz90 - with landscape-support

but i dont know how to copy netfront to my vz90???
i dont need the english interface (the buttons are the same) but i need the "umlaut"-support of the english netfront-version - german websites are not easy to read if every umlaut has a japanese equivalent ;-)

who knows how to copy netfront to the clie ram? if i try - the device says there is not enough memory! Is there any chance to get umlaut-support in netfront?

best thing is using FileZ or making a backup. By using a Backup, copy the german version into the backup folder and reinstall this backup.

with FileZ it is not possible to copy netfront from memorystick to the vz90-ram.
But (if you have netfront in the palm/launcher -folder) with Zlauncher (not with ste built-in launcher) it is possible to launch the english netfront-version from Memorystick. But it has not a umlaut-support included .. dont know where the umlauts are situated???

Sorry, Japanese does not include accentuated caracters, and no etset, umlaut and so on...
It's not because you take an english program tha it comes with german / accentuated caracters as well...

I guess you should simply forget accentuated caracters and etset / umlaut :)

You are right. But in all other app i use fonts4os5 - it works fine with umlauts (i only really need them in my contactmanagement (datebk5/tealphone) - because many german names are with umlauts (just like müller, krüger, schröder ;-) etc ), but it doesnt show the japanese characters in a right way (i dont have japanese names in my contacts)

only in netfront (with its own small characters) i can´t show umlauts! ... Its not really a problem, but may be there is a solution anywhere?
