you can only dl up to 2mb of info before you have to pay. that sounds like a lot but most channels are 100-300k and some even more. I don't think it is really worth it.

I only use AvantGo for things that don't come over well on my browser app [I use the latest v. PocketLink].
I've had it off and on for a couple of years now and never gone over the limit to have to pay. I would take it off when I would need space on my III-c, but with the files on MS it is fine on the newer NX.
Newest AV build is "hi-rez" only in theory. They have to update the content end or something before you get the 480 use out of it.

Works OK, the second build is a little better than the first and loads a lot quicker. (jog works etc)

Still, it's damn slow if you store the content on your MS. I've found that app on the ms with doc's on the internal is about the only really usable structure. (so 2mb is about all you'd want in anycase)

I tried ISilo and hated it...nothing ever seemed to be formatted right. Spent most of my time scrolling sideways.

That said, Avantgo still ain't ready...I need to sync both an OS4 and my OS5 devices. I guess I can wait on my NX60 for the version that can do both OS's

It works great, I have what I need on my preferences and no problems here. Did i say it's FREE!

There is a little setting that would probably cure that problem. In a iSilo doc on the handheld, go to:  Preferences | Options | Display | Tables | single column.

Way faster than the earlier version. Be sure to follow the directions on the download site, TO-THE-LETTER. I spent two evenings trying to make it work, then I RTFM'd and it all started working (except for full screen, that's later).

With AvantGo, I too am scrolling left and right... Is this their problem, my problem, or the content provider's problem?

PCWORLD.com for example.... Impossible to read like that!

Yeah, the tip to RTFM worked for me too :-)
It's faster than the previous version, but still quite slow compared to other apps.

I'm trying it. It has crashed me three times so far-that's almost half the times I'm using it. It looks mostly the same, except a rare few sites use the smaller fonts(that's the extent of hires). No big screen yet for the NX and still missing allot of graphics like icons(just blue box placeholders).

Loads a little faster-but overall very, very, very.........................slow.
