Boy does this product suck. If you look at the graphics on the box or on the website you will notice that it is for the palm crappy resolution and not for the CLIE Hi-res screens. Everything is hard to read and terrible to use.
No zoom feature. Only selected street names appear. You have to touch the street on the screen to get the name in the bottom text bar. If you forgot exactly where you tapped, you have to keep tapping to figure it out again. No highlighting of streets when you tap them to keep your place.
Suck suck suck. My windows CE 2.0 device with free software from microshaft was better than this $50 piece of crap from Delorme. This is better than Solus pro 2.0? I don't think so.
I'm going with Mapopolis after this terrible experience.

Yeah,
I realize now that Delorme just puts out crap for products.

Aw man, I already bought it. Oh well, maybe it'll be ok for (less than demanding) needs.

Chill-out
I bought Xmap. I have Xmap on my T-615 connected to my Garmin GPSIII+.
Yes, the interface is TERRIBLE, but the maps are pretty good. It works with most GPS devices.
What is your issue. The interface or the maps or the integration with your GPS?

LOL sorry about that....I was pretty upset at the time!
First, I would like to correct myself. There is a zoom feature with Xmap. You must use the scroll button up and down to zoom in and out. It is sloooowwww to zoom in and out. If you scroll 3 or 4 times in a row without waiting forever for the map to update, you will get a blank map and have to reload the entire map again before trying to zoom out to the scale you originally wanted.
Second, there is no Hi-Res support. The map views are terrible and it is hard to figure out where you are....unless you have your gps receiver hooked up and tracking properly. Refresh of maps is also terrible.
The only thing going for this product is the fact that it integrates with any external GPS out there.
Jerry: The maps and the interface stinks. As a fellow owner of a Garmin GPS III, you have to admit that the map detail on the Garmin are far better than what delorme came up with. Even the zoom feature and mouse control is easier to use than the delorme xmap product....and faster too.
Go get the demo from Mapopolis and use it for 5 minutes. You will fall in love with it and ***** slap your Xmap. Better interface, hi-res support, gps support, tons of maps for a year....same price.
