I think I am the first buyer of the VZ90 in germany. I ordered it today via pdakobo.com (via mail).
My question: How can I input text into the palm? does graffiti work fine on it? if i try on a palmOSEmulator with japanese ROMfile - it is not easy to put in latin (german or english or french .. ) letters - if i write the graffitti A - it shows a japanese letter! The same with E , U and many combinations of letters.
Can I deactivate the japanese letters ????
Thanks for every answer! CK

Congratulations.

Yes, for ASCII
BTW: Entering Kanji characters is very complicated, involving several simpler characters (it is complicated for *me* because I don't understand it -- it may be easy for someone who knows the character set ;-)
Features are selected with four buttons in the bottom part of the Alpha input graffiti area (above the two big Home and Menu virtual buttons)
Press the last button (with the character that looks like a blocky '8') for simple character modes.
It is a toggle so press it until you get characters you understand (ASCII or Katakana I believe). The shift indicator should turn to a small 'a'.
Of course there is always the virtual keyboard.

This is ASCII input only
AFAIK: extended international characters (eg: umlauts) are not supported.

I was a little bit afraid about it, but now i have found the key on my japanese-Rom-emulator. Thanks for your information.
In my former Palms (TH55 and TJ37) it was possible changing to Graffitti 1 (with the graffitti 1 files from older palms) - On my UX50 - Graffitti 1 was not possible with these files. I think on the VZ90 it will not work - because of the landscapemode?
Maybe "Tealscript" will work (because it was working on my UX50). OK I will try ...

OK, I think I am the 2nd german VZ90 user :D
Captain Kork had the money faster together than me ;)
I will try if I can install Decuma Latin from NX80. IŽll give a try on it.
