Go to sony support webpage, there's an updated Palm Desktop, it works fine.

If you are running Windows XP, I hope you didn't plug in your clie initially before the software was loaded. The main problem is the instructions are often contradictory.
Uninstall everything and start over. You have to install the Palm Desktop that came with the Sony first before installing the update.

the original desktop needs to be uploaded first before you install the new updated version. Otherwise, you will lose all your conduits in hotsync! Just had to sort that out yesterday.

Thanks for suggessions. I am using WinMe.
I tried install the original Desktop 4.0.1, and then the 4.1.
However, again an error message appears while installing:
Error1304. Error writing to
file C:\WINDOWS\inf \ clhs0066.inf.
Verify that you have assess to that directory.
Anyone has any solution? I am desperate !!

Have you tried sending an email to microsoft support (ok I know this is not a super suggestion, but what if they answer?).
Also sony support may help you.
Hope you get it soon, the NX is great!!
