Has anyone tried the PDA Skins Plus case for their NZ? This is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure the NZ will fit. The inside dimensions of the PDA section of the case say .9" and the camera end of the NZ measures about 1.25". I wrote the company to find out if it was flexible enough to fit and they replied with:
"Yes, it is a leather case, so it should fit fine. It will stretch. If it doesn't fit, you can return it for a refund."
So, I'm wondering if any of you have tried it or if you think I should risk it.

Oops! Sorry about that. Here's the link: http://www.pdaskins.com/. I'm thinking it would be a really tight fit. The internal measurements of the PDA plus (my favorite) are 5.5"H x 3.5"H x .9"D. My second favorite is the horizontal organizer. The inside measurements are a little larger at: 6.1" w x 4.1" h x 1.1" d, but it lacks the large secondary compartment that the other one has.

They look nice ..... I didn't see anything 'sony' related on their site. It seemed more Palm and Handspring devices, although I'm sure much of the Sony line would fit into them just fine. I would like the extra compartment and such as well. I haven't seen anything tailor made for the NZ90 as of yet. A buddy here at work bought one of those 'backpack' looking PDA Holders. It is very nice, but lacks the 'professional' look. While he has a bunch of compartments in his.... for his PDA and accessories it almost looks like a tiny backpak which comes with a belt-clip to holster on your hip. Based on what I currently see on the market which the NZ will fit into.... What he got seems the best option right now. I'm still holding off until a few more NZ covers come out. I'd like mine to be leather, and not a tiny skin-covering.
I'm not a fan of those PDAs which have just the ultra-thin leather covering the PDA. They are nice when closed. But when you open them up to use the PDA.... you either need to remove 'em from the case... or if you are holding your PDA with the skin still on... you end up with a huge 'flap' of leather hanging off of your back hand. I think that is a little tacky as well. I loved my Handspring Pro's case. Tri-fold! It has a notepad in it, Credit card holder (like 3-4 CCs), License Holder, side-storage for some $$$ and the Handspring Visor Line CLICKED into place. No crappy velcro adhesives. It clickes and locks into place. That is what I would like to see come out for other lines. I think when Handspring was big enough in the PDA world (not incuding the TREO line) they had the best professional looking case. Nice Site though..... If you see them coming out with anything for the NZ line..... post back here!

I have the case (it's a nice all-purpose case). However, the NZ was too long to fit.

This one would have the flap like you were talking about....
Vaja is in my opinion the only way to go, whenever they come out with it...

Update - I have since ordered (and returned) the PDA Skins case. I found that it was a very nice case and the NZ did fit (although tightly). However, I decided that a small purse was better suited to my needs. This case was roomy enough for credit cards and a cell phone, but it was not quite large enough to carry the minimum that I want with me.

Hi,
I ordered the NZ90 case from Extreme-limit Saturday, and got the confirmation today. They aren't real good at email response time. My last case was from Seidio (Xigma) for my NR70. It was the deluxe model which is real similar to the new case for the NZ. I liked it, but when I tried to order one directly from Xigma, they couldn't process my Visa check card, so after finding out that Seidio wouldn't have them until next month, I went with Extreme-limit. The site lists them as out of stock, but the email I finally received said that they were coming in this week.

You know what is really sad? We have to wait so long for cases, that we are risking damage to our NZ'S. The Sony case is just too darn big! I really wish that Sony would work with these companies that make cases. Mine is already showing wear and tear, and I have only had it 4 weeks. The color is coming off of the upper corners of my NZ. The same thing happened with my NR. Bythe time that someone made a case for it, it was all scratched up. I don't abuse it, I just keep it in my scrub pocket. I don't carry anything else in that pocket that would scratch it. :-(

WOOOOHA! Got home and found the Extreme case delivered. Ordered on Monday, got here Thursday. Not bad!
Looks good. Everything fits. Just undo the cover and roll the back down a little for photos. Needs to be removed from the cover for recharging / hotsync via the craddle. Easy enough to put back on.
Clie can be carried opened (tablet) or closed ... there's a soft cover that will go over the screen when in tablet mode and the case closed up.
Worth it?
Without a doubt! Buy one.
NOW!
