NX, NZ Audio Remote: TG50 Compatible?

Does anyone know if the audio remote that comes with the NX and NZ series will work on the TG50? This is my last reservation before making a purchase.

Probably not, that is if the PIX I've seen are correct.

THE NX has a special plug/end so that it plugs in ONLY ONE WAY with some squarish protrusion to one side with contacts (which I beleive is for the audio remote)

no it wont because there is no audio jack that supports the modified jack of the remote control. If you just look at the headphone jack, its just a hole on the TG50. On the NX, NR, NZ, N, it has a different type audio jack.

Its hardware is not compatible.

I don't really like the remote too much as mine always gets all tangled up, I'd rather use a sleek retractable set of headphones

You can use any type of headphones with the remote.
