Ok, if any of you know me (ok, you don't), I'm a case freak. Ever since I've received this NZ90, I've been searching for cases. Based on the threads here, I ordered the Pygmy case but that thing was huge. I don't like it. So I was at Compusa today and someone had opened the Sony case...it's the black pocket style one, sort of mesh (it's on their site and I'm too lazy to add the link)...anway, I tried the NZ90 in it and I like it for now. It's only $29.99 and although it doesn't have a belt clip at least it doesn't make the things SO huge. I think it's nice. Just my 2 cents....

Personally, I'm waiting for the Vaja...even if I wasn't 100% satisified with the one for my NR70V.

This is the case I am using until Vaja comes out, It will attach to belt, wrist strap and shoulder strap............

I happened to be traveling for business in Singapore and Taiwan and I thought I would be able to find a case for the NZ, but nothing was found any where! Every shop I went to said they were not expecting anything 'small' for at least a month.

I did find a perfect case designed for a camera, though. No specific model known, but it attaches to the belt and fits and works perfectly.

Seek out camera shops and you might be fortunate and find the case that meets your needs!

I also purchased the Sony "mesh" case. It fits well, provides some protection, is a nice clean design, and will tide me over until Vaja, EB, etc. offer cases for the NZ. The cost didn't thrill me ($29.95 list), but it is the best solution I've found to date.

(fyi I am registered but my password is on my other computer)....I have to agree...been using this mesh cash for a couple of days and I really do like it and I'm SOOOOOOOO picky about cases.....no clip but still, I feel like it protects it nicely and works well. Fits perfectly...not too tight...easy in and out (althgouh I do use the hold button every time in)

Yup, using "hold" is important - I initially couldn't figure out why my NZ90 was "on" when I'd take it out of the case. Then, Doh! I realized the case was pushing the "on" slide while I was taking it out. If you use the lanyard that comes with the Clie it makes it easier to get it out - give you something to pull on! After a week the case has relaxed a bit and isn't so tight. Still the best solution I've seen so far. I do miss a belt clip, though...

It's funny you said that about the lanyard...I did the same thing and it's working great. I ordered a clip from ultra clip (it's the company Vaja uses) and I might just attach it. I'm using my NZ90 for mediciation alarms all day long and I kind of need to have it with me at all times...

How are you planning on attaching the clip? On a different note, Sony makes a blue metal case that holds eight MS, four per side. If you two of the ribs that separate the MS, it becomes the perfect "heavy protection" case for two MS and a spare SmartLithium battery. FWIW.

When I had a visor Prism I used a case because there was no screen protection. My next PDA was the Clie NR70V and it was almost too pretty to cover up with a case, so I bought a purse with an outside zipper pocket that fit perfectly. I lined the pocket with a sponge cut to fit to help protect it if I got a little rough. I just sold that Clie last week (8 months after purchasing it) and it didn't have a scratch on it - still looked like new.

Now I have the NZ and the only thing I don't like about it is the "gun metal gray" color. The NR was definitely prettier. So, I think I'll cover it up with a pretty light blue Vaja when they are available.

Is that the "Emporer's New Case" model?
