I have no problem with NetFront, but I was wondering if others had found a better browser alternative.
I just got a UX 50 (I'm really enjoying it) and its my first palm device (previously only used Pocket PC devices), so I'm trying to find what are the best software add ons.

From what I see and hear (im new to the UX50 Myself, the Netrfront seems to be "The" Browser for the UX50. There is an upgrade to it 3.1, do a search, there aresevral threads about it, and yoiu will need info to install it properly (cant just HotSynch ir) Also, when buying games, beware, many games will not work right on a UX 50 becuase of the keyboard layout ( main thing is no 4 up down, left right buttons) This forum is great, good experienced users mixed in with newbies so you can learn alot.
Speaking of that, I would like to see a Thread of Games people have found work well on the UX50. Would save some time and effort./ Guess I should do that huh?

I have loaded up literally every browser available for the PalmOS on my Clie.
None touches NetFront v3.1. :D Simply the best available at the moment.

Buy? No. NetFront for the PalmOS is provided as an OEM installed product only, unfortunately. We here have sucessfully installed this (version 3.1 that is) version onto Clies that didn't have it pre-installed at the factory. But I know of no one who has installed it on a "Non-Sony" device. Not saying it isn't possible, it may very well be...I just haven't heard about it.

IC. I've noticed that there are not many purchase or freeware options for 3rd party web browsers to be installed on a device. The Zodiacs web browser is a dud. It just loads full size web pages! Slow as slow is. I hate think that we have to buy a PDA based on our favorite web browser. Any suggestions from you on third party options?

I have in my NX80 NetFront 3.0, I have two questions:
1) Can or should I upgrade to 3.1?
2) How?
thanks
