Yes, I'm stupid. I have never owned a pda before, but really want one so I can take school notes. I have been looking for some time now and now that the TG50 has come out, I'm dead set on getting it. However! What program do u use to take notes on? I heard that the TG50 doesnt have Documents to Go on it. Is that a problem? Is it Memo Pad I would be using to take notes on? I don't know. I'm stupid. Somebody enlighten me, please.

You're not stupid, you're ignorant. Big difference. ;)
How detailed are the notes you want to take? Do you want full word processing capabilities or just free hand quick notes? Do you want a free app or do you mind buying one?

now the question is what are you going to be doing with the notes after they are taken? are you going to be using them with ms word or just looking at them on the handheld?
i know these questions seem kind of silly, but remember, you started it;) :p

i would like to use ms word with them, but that is not a necessity. chances are, i'll be looking at my notes via the clie.

i use documents to go for my word processor (and spreadsheet). there are others here that will recommend other programs (quickoffice, wordsmith, etc.) i've never used them. i have been using doc to go since it came out and i was using a palm III.
on the clies source home page, searching under the clie files list (left column) for applications will take you to a list which includes "office" clicking on there will give you a couple of pages to look through. download all the trials and give them a whirl. that's really the best way to find out what works best for you.:p :D
