Can anyone recommend a good calculator to replace the original one that comes with the Palm OS? I would like it to have some unit conversions, maybe some graph options and definetely some statistical formulas if one exists.

Thanks

If you need a graphing calculator, then try powerOne Graph from Infinity Softworks.

I use it myself for school and the graphs are so much better when compared to TI-83 graphing calculators.

It has a steep price of $49.99 though.

I use MegaCalc that has a built-in conversion tool, graphing programs, and looks awesome in hi-res.

Parens has always been the best for me.

Most convenient unit conversions included.

It's been pulled from the market place. Email me and I will send you a copy.

If you like RPN, I use MathUPro (http://www.creativecreek.com/mathupro.html). It isn't hi res, but looks good and emulates the HP programmable scientific calculators. The Pro version supports user-written macros in what is essentially the format of the old HP programming language. It also does some conversions. I looked at MegaCalc when it came out, but although it looks great, it isn't nearly as powerful as MathUPro.

I agree with Jack K here. Very good calculator and it includes everything in your request.:)

One thing nice about MathUPro is that you can assign the buttons for certain functions (scientific, financial, conversions, etc.) like putting overlay template on the old HP calculator. If you want to do a conversion, just tap "Units", some of the 2nd function (f) and 3rd function (g) of the button will display the unit, e.g., on top or below button 1 will display gal or liter instead of e^x or LN, respectively. You can customize the buttons to suit your own need.

Does anyone know if a TI emulator exists for palms? I'd love to download my TI ROM to my clie and use it to emulate a TI.

Not to my knowledge.
