I have an NX73 that all of the sudden started to have horizontal and vertical green and red lines that won't go away. There is a litle purple blob that looks like leaked ink near the screen edge that starts at the beginning of the horizontal lines. The screen seems to have a noticible flicker to it too. Everything still works, but there seem to be more lines today than yesterday!

I didn't drop it or anything! It was sitting in my briefcase in its Brando case since I left work last night. Then towards bedtime when I pulled it out to set my alarm clock I discovered the screen problem. Anyone ever have this??

I'm thinking there is unrecoverable hardware damage. :( Please please tell me otherwise!!

I have a similar problem with my NX-80. When I rotate the screen it fills the screen with lines obscuring the display. It is on its way to Sony repair today.

If you have an ink blob under the screen the lcd is cracked :'(

Dang! I was afraid to hear that. Oh well, anyone interested in buying a broken NX73 for parts? It still works well, just doesn't look pretty. No new lines today but you never know when the whole screen will disappear. I'll be selling my WL110 as well. $50 each or $90 for both? I can provide pictures if anyone is interested. Poor NX... you have been so reliable and faithful all this time. :( Sad sad day.....
