hello everyone... the boy and girl photo refused to go away!! i deleted it from the backup folder and also in the handheld. why do they still linger on me....????

any where else do they exists? i did a search for that filename already.

Same here. I deleted them from both on my CLIE and on the PC, but they keep coming back after every HotSync. I've had my TH for at least 3 months now, but this has only started happened just recently. Does anyone know how to fix this? :confused:

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but I noticed that everytime I had to do a hard reset, they showed back up and I had to re-delete 'em. Maybe you reset recently?

Anyway, one solution is to have a memstick backup (like backupman) after a hard reset and just restore. Sends those brats packing!

Yes, I had to perform a hard reset a few weeks ago.

Look in this folder:

C:\Program Files\Sony Handheld\(Your HotSync Name)\cop\MmData

If you see the picture of the little boy and girl in that folder, delete the picture and that should fix it.

Thanks, Seul. I had to hard reset my TH55 and I couldn't remember how to get rid of those two. I wonder if I'm going to miss them now? :)
