Memory Stick Help

For some reason my nx70 will no longer see my memory stick. When I put the stick in the icon on the bottom of the screen shows a ? over it. If I try to format the stick - it asks me to insert a memory stick even though it is already in. Have tried a soft and hard reset. Any ideas?

Can you read your memory stick in a Card reader?

That will be the first step i'd take to be sure my MS is still working, may be you fried up your MS, and it's not working anymore, that's why your clie can't see it.

If you can see it in a Card reader, then the problem should be on the clie side.

I have that same problem with my NX80V when ever the memory stick was impoperly remove from the drive, and its a problem that sony has not fix that error with memory drive correctly they fix a series of patches the problem is with interface in the mother board its even worse if you have the clie with the camera your unit will have to be sent back where they will either replace the motherboard or reinstall the memory stick driver if your went over your warrenti its going to cost you about 165 dollars for new motherboard call up sony its a problem on there part.
