I have very different "brands" and non-branded cards. They all are working w/o problems

I have 8 CF cards of various brands (viking, sandisk, simple tech, kingston, and lexar) - all 256M - and they all work fine. The only thing I can't get to work is the IBM Microdrive.

I had a 1gb IBM microdrive that worked fine with exception to draining the battery.

Did you get a 2Gb memory stick for $129. I've seen cf's this low for 2gb but not memory sticks!

Does anyone know if a 2MB CF be used to store and access GPS maps?

I think 2mb is too small to hold a map :D
2gb on the other hand will work just fine.

My 2 gig stick cost me $289.00 on ebay. Lowest I've seen lately. Shipping ran me about $10.
I needed it for the movies I record...it holds hours and hours! Wonder when the 4 gig stick will be out?

NX80 will only 'see' up to 2GB
4GB won't work!

At this point, 2GB is huge for me. But I remember when I was loving 64MB. I think that when 4GB becomes a necessity, it will be time for a new PDA. I have yet to max out my 2GB memory stick, but then again, I have a 1GB CF and a few 512MB MS, so I'm not hurtin for memory.
