Is the VZ-90 easily converted to English?
All of the pictures I've seen have all of the program text in Japanese.

To convert it into english would require a fairly extensive hack of the OS, since the ROM can't be flashed to my knowledge.

FWIW: I would not expect anyone to create a full translation. Selective translations are easy, but if you are familiar with CLIE, you can figure out what to do without understanding every single menu item...

They are attempting, but no promises.

As Imame points out, gets tricky due to copyright issues. Other Dynamism products are rebuilding open-source Linux products, in keeping with the GPL.
The techniques needed to localize many of the Copyrighted CLIE/PalmOs apps are treading heavily on copyrighted material [see my upcoming Day 4 report]

Users sharing copyrighted material on this BBS is one thing ('light gray piracy' as I call it). A company selling content at a premium price is another...
