I almost purchased the NX60 today during lunch. CompUSA has them for $429. They have sony Wifi Card for $99 after 50 mail in rebate. I plan to buy both, and use with my access point at home.
I wanted to ask you guys a few quick questions, before I go back and get it
1-NX60 doesn't appear to have a browser. Do I need to purchase this separately? or can it be downloaded? Anyone who browses, any issues? What should I do and not do here?
2-the screen looked great but don't seem as bright as the SJ33 or NZ90 side by side. If the settings were set equal, are the newer Sonys inherently brighter? Anyone know?
3-battery looked like it could be swapped out, using a small phillips. Anyone use the NX60 with a backup battery? Any loss of data if I were to switch them out, on longer road trips? How much for a backup battery?
4-I think the NX60 can be upgraded to accept Memory Stick Pro in the future. Is this true? How about a Sony bluetooth infostick, are these coming soon?
I love the NX due the basic design and screen size. I like that you can protect the screen with the clamshell, and also swivel to use as a table style.
I decided I don't need the camera on the PDA. My next phone will probably have a camera, (1MP coming soon), and in my opinion, it makes more sense for the phone, not PDA, to have a camera for spontaneous photos, at least for me.
Any comments on above would be greatly appreciated. I apologize if these topics already been discussed, Im new to these boards.
Thanks,
Ryan
