Haven't seen any threads on Dell in a while. With the TG50 out will there be any specials by Dell? Are people still buying Clies from them? Last time I tried to buy a microdrive CF card from them at a "killer" price the deal never materialized; that is they never had the item in stock. I was turned off by them at that point.

I got the NZ90 for 15% off. Figure in a $35 coupon and a 2% ebates refund and I got a pretty good deal. It arrived in two days. No shipping charges either.

i would rather buy offline and spend $100 more and get a 3-year replacement plan from BestBuy than buy it online... is there any type of plan similiar to these online?

I have bought items online (not bestbuy.com) and taken them into best buy and added just the extended service plan. I just bring it in when the box is sealed, and they have done this for me twice. I am not sure if it is a company wide issue, or if it is ultimately up to the Manager.

i'll call them about that-- as long as the box is still sealed, you say? i wonder if this applies to other local resellers like CompUSA or CircuitCity?

I am not sure if the box has to be sealed, I just bring it in like that to be safe. :)

At CompUSA, they require you to bring in the PDA and the original store receipt.
They then do a functional test to make sure it works, then they will sell the warranty to you! I did this on the Apple iPod and Sony NX70V, no problems.
Now, I have not had to take them yet, though my iPod is seemingly slowly going off the deep end, so I do not know what their response is when you take it in to get worked on.
