Yes, slower but according to PDABuyer's Guide review faster than dialup. Of course, that'd be frustrating seeing as I'm on cable broadband!!! Just thought it was kind cool esp. with the builtin Bluetooth on the NZ.

It's a 115k connection so it's really not bad at all for surfing or e-mail. The biggest drawback is the limited range.

BTW I've got mine set up using a $30 USB adapter and Win2K Internet Connection Sharing. Low cost and about 5 minutes to configure. It's less of a battery drain the 802.11b card but about 1/3 the range.
