I recently bought a new laptop and for some reason, it won't recognize my NX80 when I attempt to sync via USB. Each time I try, the computer tells me that the USB device is unrecognized. I can sync via IR, but it's a slow, tedious process.

My previous laptop was an IBM ThinkPad T22 running Win2K Pro, and my new one is a ThinkPad T42 running XP Pro. Can anyone help me out here, or at the very least point me somewhere where I can find the necessary drivers?

Thanks in Advance,
Adam

Did you install the Clie Desktop software from the CD?

Hasn't it been a common error with Clie users when they have upgraded/ or synced with XP os?
I don't use XP, but do a search and look to see the possible solutions (it sounds familiar).

Or can anyone point the poster in the right direction?

I found one where the cradle was no good; and then this one (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66850&highlight=sync) but I don't know if you are using version SP2.

Goodluck.

Thanks for the quick replies, fellas, but all is well. After syncing successfully a couple of times via IR, my T42 must've gotten familiar with my Clie, because the next time I tried to sync via USB, it worked like a charm.

Strange, but true.
