I do. All the time. But I've just upgraded from an NR70V to an NZ90, and i've got to admit, she's not as comfy.
With my NR it would fit snugly in my hand and I could easilly scroll through an eBook.
But with the NZ I've had to swap hands. I don't seem to be able to scroll with the job dial that well in my right hand.
Must be carefull sometimes. I sometimes make the screen a mess, mainly with drool....
So do you sleep with yours?

I guess it depends on your definition of 'with'. I read ebooks or play games until I'm ready to go to sleep, then I put it on my nightstand, back side up, so it can wake me up in the morning (using Clock+).

I do the same as RLDUNN - except I use MegaClock...:)

Ditto to ridunn but I settled on Megaclock. Takes me 30 minutes of 3 different songs and a jangling phone sound to get up, at which point the Clie goes back into the cradle for charging <g>.

I also like to read ebooks and it then stays on my nightstand ready to wake me to "reveille" on MegaClock. Did you all get the latest upgrade?

Yep, reading then nightstand. Eventually I'll use it as an alarm clock.

I use MultiClock but I'm looking for a replacement. I keep it by my bedside and use it as an alarm clock.
My wife also uses her NR with MultiClock, as a bedside alarm clock.

I keep it by my bed . . . but I'm boring, I don't have a separate alarm app. I have a daily event @ 6am in Datebk5 that wakes me up every morning. (*YAWNS* ho hum)

I looked at Megaclock, multiclock and clock+ . . .I liked the simplicity, looks-wise, of Multiclock and DEFINITELY the size (it takes up much less ram). . . .But I found the alarms difficult to set and only three alarms available to save at any one time. Megaclock has way more alarm settings than I need but I would like to have more than three. . . Instead of snoozing, I set different files to play every 10 minutes. . . .THEN a snooze at the end. . .
Anyway, after playing around with all three of them, I chose Megaclock. It seemed to have the most intuitive interface, plus several perks that I will find useful (timer, stopwatch, world time, lunar phases) occasionally. You can basically use whichever display most suits your needs -- if you don't NEED alternate time zones on a daily basis, you don't have to look at them.
Or if that is important to you, it can be your main screen.
The world time zone display is interesting - it's a flat globe and shows which part of the world is in day or night.
Overall, I thought the megaclock features justified the space in ram, with the exception of the clock faces. And even they would be VERY nice if you wanted to show off a Clie in the cradle at work; and if you dont want those faces, you can delete them and cut megaclock's size in half).

Just a little reminder. You can use every T-series cradle for loading the NX. I have my old T-615 cradle placed right next to my bed. I use MegaClock as well (currently. I'm known to switch tools every two days)

What's wrong with the good ole' WA Clock application? Am I missing out on some funky alarm settings with MegaClock or Clock+?

Anyways, I use WA Clock to wake me up with the "Wake up" alarm set... I don't put it on a night stand, I put it far enough away so I have to physically get out of bed and turn it off. It helps me actually get up. :)

On my blow-up doll, for the face I taped on a picture of the NX70V. Does that count as sleeping with your Clie?

I prefer books rather than ebooks, but I spend hours with MONSTA in my bed ;)

How can I change the alarm noise in Megaclock to a song or something else?
Anita

Go the alarms menu, then to settings (for each individual alarm), and then pick a sound from the "alarm sound" drop-down menu.
There is a free file, Cliesounds, of different songs (you can use the sound utility to delete ones you don't want) in one of the applications download sections on Cliesource. Suits my needs just fine. Sorry, don't remember where it is. There are other song compilations available (for a price) on Palmgear and Handango.

Where IS WAclock? I've seen references to it but I've never seen it on my T665C. . . .Is it in one of the other applications???

I usually play a game or do something to wind down, and as soone as I get a TG50 or some OS5 device, I plan on using it to watch movies on a 512MB MS Pro card I plan on getting.

Anita It should be in the 'add-ons' file on your CD . . . or something similar to it . . .
GOOD LUCK!
I sleep with mine every night, and set the vibrate alarm to go off every 5 minutes.

Well, I was using Clock+ as my alarm before WA Clock or Megaclock existed. If I was in the market today, I might get Megaclock instead, but I doubt I would use WA Clock. I do use WA Clock as an alarm when it's time to go home from work (since I want to use an alarm sound that I recorded), but for waking up, I mainly need more snooze options. With Clock+, I have one snooze interval for weekdays and another for weekends, plus the buttons are huge when the alarm screen pops up, which is nice when you're barely conscious.

Doesn't everyone??????? It is handy to wake up in the middle of the night and grab the CLie to either read or play games to get you back to sleep or while waiting for the dogs to decide to come in.
Proud new owner of the NZ90!!!!

When I need to wake up early, it's at my side as an alarm clock (multiClock). Otherwise it usually stays "cabled" to my laptop. Since it's set to auto-backup every night, I like to keep it powered. Silly, I know. Not like it's going to run out of battery while it's backing up.

I never sleep with mine.... I leave it in the living room 'cause it likes to be connected to the computer all night long.... I think they are having an affair... but I don't want to watch and find out....

I need to do that on some days too.

Always on the night stand...after playing game and preparing work for the next day. Also handy to grab while "the one next to you start making funny noise" so to make yourselves play with it till you hit the pillow again.

I use WAClock on my clie. Works for my needs. I have it on my endstand with the ac adapter to charge it.

Yep. I've got my N760 on my nightstand, and my wife has her T415 on hers :-)
Yup, because I always remember something important while I'm trying to fall asleep, and if I don't write it down I won't remember it in the morning. It also functions as my backup alarm. Right now I use Datebk5, but I've also used WAClock and WorldMate. I keep it right next to my pillow, speaker-up, probably because I don't have a nightstand. I was just on a business trip for two weeks, and kept it on the nightstand at the hotel. Useful piece of furniture, the nightstand, but I did feel a bit of separation anxiety at having my Clie more than arms-reach away. I probably should put it across the room, because I've become very good at turning off the alarm in my sleep!:o

Yup, because I always remember something important while I'm trying to fall asleep, and if I don't write it down I won't remember it in the morning. Exactly.
And, ever since I bought a Palm IIIC when they first came out, I have always bought a second cradle, and put the original charging cradle on my nightstand, and set the PDA to "stay on in cradle" (for the aforementioned notes using DiddleBug).
That way, the battery charges every night and I don't have to think about battery or power-remaining issues ever.
And, I since getting a Clie with Memory Stick, I find that the screen is actually more pleasant to read than a PC monitor, and much easier to hold than a physical book, so I do most of my reading on my Clie (and the Memory Stick allows me now to keep more books available than I have time to read).

I like reading ebooks until I fall asleep. Usually wake up with either my stylus or my Rhinoskin aluminum case digging into my arm, then I put it on the dresser. (wife has the nightstand on her side of the bed)

I use it as a flash light, I can even adjust brightness, colour and even auto off after x min. It's perfect for reading in the dark without waking others up.:D
