avantgo

i use avantgo on my nx80 mainly for the yahoo movies but right now it doesn't work for me. does anyone know an alternative to either yahoo or avantgo to get movie showtimes on my clie?

go to www.doublebit.com and download the Pocket TV Browser. It installs in your PC and syncs very nicely. You will get movies, sports, etc. and all categorized. Also, when you see the movie you want to watch next week, it AUTOMATICALLY enters it into your Datebook with channel number, channel name, event name and start time. It also asks you for an advance alarm setting for the event.

I have had this for 3 weeks now and it is great. They will ask for a donation (something like $20) but it looks like the program might let you run it without any special code entry, etc.

I love it and just wish that it would sync via the NX80V's wireless or modem, instead of the PC.

Where are you located smiting2000? I also use an app called Vindigo. It contains a great movie listing service...not sure if your city is covered by it though.

Hmm...now I see what you mean smiting2000. When I click on my movies in the Yahoo channel...nothing happens. Totally empty. :(
