i bought the 40 buck misssing sync program, and to my demise and utter disappointment, when i synced ical with my palm, none of my repeated events were shown in the palm datebook. How ridiculous. Are ppl aware of this? If so, do ppl use repeated events ( i do especially for class schedules etc)? I dont see anyone else complaining, i wonder why. I think this is a huge problem, and i bought the 40 buck program for this sole purpose: calendar and event syncing with my th-55. Sigh.

I cal is so buggy. Try printing... Is horrible. I tried iCal, palm Desktop for Mac and Entourage, and let me tell you there is nothing like Palm Desktop for PC. I mean, I love Mac, and I would not leave it, but the PIm programs are very bad compared to Palm Desktiop for PC. I am still researching just like you.

With my setup (12" Powerbook G4 running OSX 10.3.5, Clie TH-55, Sony Ericsson T610 cell phone) I use iSync with Missing Sync running and it syncs everything perfectly, with no wires all over the place (Wifi for the TH-55 and Bluetooth for the T610). I used to use the Palm Desktop program, but have gone away from it now that I use iSync and Missing Sync to get all the info on iCal and Mac's Address Book program.
Mind you, I had to go through some growing pains at first to get it all to work, and I think the main pain was that I had to choose between either using iCal or Palm Desktop as my main PIM program (I don't think that you can use both at once with Missing Sync).
In addition to searching on here for answers, going to the Markspace website can provide some insight too if you read around some of the support databases. That helped me alot when trying to set up my situation.
