NX80 dead :(

I tried to turn it on, the power light and screen flashed about 10x and it hasn't turned on since! :eek: I've tried everything. Various reset methods, attempting to recharge it for a whole day, even pulling out the battery. Still No charge light, no sign of it turning on. :confused:

Any Suggestions? I don't think I've dropped it or anything, and if it were a dead battery, I'd still get a charge light, right? I think the battery was at about 60% When It stopped.

The power-light usually blinks when the Clié is in hold mode. The power-switch (which has been known to break, see my high-res pics in sig) has essentially 3 positions; default, toggle, and hold. Make sure the switch feels like it is firmly changing between the different positions. Hopefully this helps a bit...

I'm not really sure of anything that you can do that would make the power light stop lighting. Hold mode usually allows the Clié to stay on for a few seconds after a Soft Reset before turning off. So your issue may be bigger...
