Nice... this is my bro's next phone... which made me wonder aloud, why do I want a N6230 or 7610, why don't I just get a Treo o_O; don't mind me just rambling...
Can I ramble too? Why do I want a T5, why don't I just get a Treo? :D

Hmmm...I may have to rethink the "keep your peanut butter out of my jelly jar "
What am I saying? I can't afford one of those!!

Images actually came from TreoCentral (http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?t=58588).

Although the Treo 650 intrigues me, I don't think I could stand having an "all-in-one" device for one reason: what if just one of those components goes awry? Then you're out the whole enchilada. I couldn't stand to be away from a phone or my PDA, but both at the same time? Sheer terror!
;)

Btw, according to the thread, the BT is locked for headsets only. It can't be used for the PC. :(:(:(

If that is the case, then what purpose would BT serve the average user? And, if it is the case, that would be a boneheaded move by P1 to add to their already boneheaded move on the T|5. I thought that maybe, just maybe they could have saved some self respect with the Treo, since the T|5 isn't all that impressive, but the BT is what a lot of people were waiting for.
If BT is locked for headphones only, then it's just another 600 with a better screen and removable battery.

Engadget properly credited TreoCentral. Thanks for the info. :) Oh ok, didn't see that :p. Last time they didn't exactly say TreoCentral, so I was just taking precautions to tell you where it came from ;).
Now I wonder...how much will the T600 be after the release of the T650?

BTW, the thread on TreoCentral has since let on that the DEMO unit used for this review may have been locked for BlueTooth to headsets and HotSync only. HOWEVER, another user has claimed to have a working unit as well with no limitations on BlueTooth use, so no one go making a decision until it is released, ok? =) I have a Treo 600 as well, and can't wait for the release of the 650. Hotsyncing wirelessly through bluetooth just as my TJ37 can do through WiFi would be EXCELLENT.
Cheers,

Don't scare me that it may have crippled BT ala Verzion...

The OP clearly stated he had no bluetooth devices with which to test the Treo (which also suggests that he has no working knowledge of bluetooth). The way he claimed bluetooth was "locked to handsfree(headset or car)" further shows that he is unaware of BT profiles. Don't squash your hopes before the phone is even released!
I find it highly unlikely that the bluetooth setup page on the Sprint version would have a feature for "Use Treo as Tethered Device!!!" As for Verizon users, you can't realistically expect to have this device before the middle of next year do you?

Looks just like the Original except with a few changes
