What is the difference between a V and a V/G or V/H?
I live overseas and Sony USA will not export a V model to me, but I can buy a V/G in Singapore.
What is the difference?

The NX70 V / G is the gun metal grey color. It's MUCH beter looking.

The USA Gunmetal version was PEG-NX70V/UH, the silver unit is minus the "H" on the carton.

Could "G" of the V/G stand for "General"? I realized it got two power cords instead of one: 2 slant legs and 2 round legs plug power cords. They are intend to ship to other countries beside Japan, Hong Kong and US.

Mine's NX70V/U, but 'made in Japan' too !
Despite the gunmetal colour, the unit itself says NX70V/U. Only the box says NX70V/UH..

I have a gunmetal, made in Japan and it's says PEG-NX70V/U on the back though I am fairly sure that one the Sony website it was listed with the "G" at the end somewhere and I looked at the silver and it didn't have the "G".
I was very careful about remembering that so when I ordered I would get the gunmetal and not the silver.
The "U" is supposedly for the model sold in the US.

"Jap" is a pretty offensive word

Right :)!
Mine is made in Japan for use in the USA, hence the PEG-NX70V/U.
I agree that JAP is offensive and shows disrespect!
