Can anyone recommend an app or something that, when tapped, turns off the UX50?

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a little icon on the UX50/40 function bar that, when tapped, powered off the device?

On my old IIIc, I had a hack that turned off the device when I swiped the silkscreen, calc to find.

Cheers,

Most of the launchers have a similar features -- I know that CRS Launcher has that, and I think ZLauncher does too.

Yes. I can confirm that ZLauncher has one "button" that will turn off the unit.

I use Launcher III & it has a button that turns it off by clicking the power button on the bottom. Also, have you went into the Pref menu, buttons, pen, then change that to turn off & lock. The you can swipe from the silk screen to the left & it turns it off & lock it. ;)
