Will T665 continue to drop price after the show-up of TG50?
Actually I don't like the design of TG50 and I will consider
a relatively cheaper T665.

Maybe but I think stocks will run out before it goes much below $300 for very long.

I just got one at the local Circuit City and they had actually sold out of their stock -- I had to get one shipped from a neighboring city.

So don't think too long about it. ;)

You can get a "brand new" refurbished one from SonyStyle.com for $250 free shipping

I talked to them about refurbished, it basically IS a brand new Clie, everything has been replaced in it and i even got them to guarentee me it would be as if it were new.

refurbished with anything electronic (computer included) means there was some problem, normally a defective small part, and the unit was shipped back to the manufacturer, the part replaced, and it is resold. generally, if the device has any scratches, the reseller (BestBuy, etc) will sell it as an "Open Item." If it is only a day old and simply didn't work from the beginning, as is normally the case, or had a small software glitch that was easily fixed but has not marks at all, it is easily brought back to as-new condition.

So, though to you your Clie will look 100% brand new, it was 75% most likely owned for a few hours by somebody else before. not to worry, it was so short that it doesn't matter-- and any problems have been replaced with new parts.

I agree. It has had the reputation of being one of the best PDA's out there and now is the time to grab one. I did when it first dropped in price and for one am glad I did. It has everything I need and with my 128mb MS all my apps are loaded with room to spare. Long live the T665!!

The guy told me that they rebuild all the parts that could get worn, so its basically a new one..

I just bought a brand new T665 and it looks really sharp... I hope the battery life last's long enough to suit my needs and won't get frustrated like some owners.

It was really hard to find one as they are liquidating fast.

Johnny:)
