E stands for "Europe"

The good ol' PEG-UX50 we have here in the States actually is part # PEG-UX50/U (for USA - how many ever noticed that?!)

I have a second unit /G with a approved for use in Singapore sticker. I back up my /U unit. So far don't see any difference.
I am able to copy the MS and then restore into the /G unit without any problems.

BE very careful buying across borders... ie dont buy a /H in the US or a /U in Europe as Sony will not support it... at all. They claim the units are different and assume we are stupid enough to believe that. They are physically the same. Software may indeed change!

Software may indeed change!Especially the language selection

PSU is a universal. you very rarely get single power supplies now as it is more cost effective to make (or buy in) a general one to cover the whole world voltage range.
I cant confirm in this case that the psu is the same but I know the Sony philosophy and cost base and would be amazed if it was different for the different areas. If someone wants to prove me wrong I will eat my mouse.

Now i see, so getting a simple adapter plug should be the only problem.
