Backlight going out in NX70V

I have an NX70 and the screen is dark from one corner in. It sometimes will flicker back on to full brightness but it will always go back to partial darkness.
Is the backlight going out? It's 1 1/2 years old and I have a 2 year extended warranty for it through the retail outlet I got it at.
