GPS working with my NX60 & SJ20.

cables from pc-mobile.net (GEST6, $28.50),
1 yr subscription to mapopolis platinum gps($45),
Garmin eTrex GPS(yes, Garmin most basic yellow gps - $99 at Best Buy this week),
and NX60.

Less than 15 minutes and the NX60 was communicating with the eTrex. I can see my position on the map. Sweet!!!!

Loaded the software onto my son's SJ20 and connected the cable and it too worked with the eTrex. Double Sweet!!

Funny thing is that the salemen I asked at the different stores that I went to, said I needed the high dollar GPS to make it work with my pda. I guess they were wrong. I'm glad I didn't listen to them.

I'll play around with this for awhile then I'll try a different map from another company. Any suggestion?

Thanks for the post. I was looking for exactly this info. I assumed that the basic eTrex wouldn't be able to do it or that cables would be near impossible to find.

My cable should be on the way and I already have the Mapopolis.

BTW, anyone have any idea when you'll be able to search for and mark coordinates into Mapopolis? Sure would be a help when geocaching.
