Is there any way to install sound (alarm) files to the memory stick and have the sound program, datebk, etc recognize them?

Also, is there a way to get audioplayer to keep playing after switching apps? Can do it on my 760, but not on the NX.

John.

There's no way I know of to put alarms on the MS.

To allow background music play, go to Audioplayer and hit Menu-Options-Preferences and select 'Enable background play'.

Any chance that this will be incorporated into a later release? Seems like it would be nice to have, since the sound files can get pretty big pretty fast.

Thanks for the help on the audioplayer. Had I looked a little closer, I probably would have found that one :b

Can't Read! Can't Write! :D

Had I known you were a Spartan from your first post, I would have made you find it on your own ;)

Storing an alarm on the MS probably won't be available until some future version of Palm OS allows it, since the current OS requires alarms and the app calling the alarms to be in RAM. On OS4 devices, you can trick the OS using PiDirect into thinking the app calling the alarm is in RAM, so if you have an OS4 Clie, you could maybe try this with your alarm database. But I would do a backup first, since I wouldn't be surprised if that caused a hard reset. For the apps, you have to relaunch the app after a soft reset or it won't call it's next alarm, so I don't think this is a real reliable solution, but YMMV.
