Mark/Space engineers have solved a problem where a kernel panic occurs in Mac OS X 10.3.5 when using the desktop mounting feature of The Missing Sync with a Sony CLIÉ handheld. [details (http://www.1src.com/?m=show&id=491)]

"Although v3.0.9 has been discontinued, and we hope that our customers will upgrade to the new Palm OS version..."

I guess we pretty much HAVE to now, right?

I guess no word of any courtesy discount if you swear "crossmyhearthopetodiestickaneedleinmyeye" that your Mac was HOSED when you tried to mount the memory stick under OS 10.3.5?

I guess no e-mail to registered 3.0.9 MissingSync users warning them about the incompatibilities of 10.3.5? Oh, I asked that one earlier.

Guess MarkSpace people read the 1src forums, eh? ;) Good to see that they're taking care of the users who have no need to upgrade.

The patch for users of 3.0.9 is now working on my Mac but didn't straight away. The first time I installed it I got an error saying that the extension hadn't been installed properly. I logged in as the root user and installed again and everything worked as it had in my pre 10.3.5 days. Probably something to do with permissions.
