I wondered if anyone has come up with a better way of putting in numbers on the Clie NR70. Either software or some kind of sticker to go over the keyboard. The keyboard is designed to look trendy, but is very hard to see in dim light. Some suggested Tappad but I tried it and where it falls down is that it only gives the numbers part of the graffiti area. It's still too small for finger tapping. I really don't need the graffiti except for numbers. I'd rather use the keyboard. Alsi I have Reco Echo which lets you write graffiti style anywhere on the screen. Any other ideas? Thanks

I consider the keyboard useless. If you take a few minutes and learn to grafitti the numbers, you can write them a heck of a lot faster than you ever could trying to type them. I have Tappad and use it a lot - but I still grafitti numbers in that area sometimes.

It absolutly astounds me that Sony would go through the trouble of making such an incredible machine with a keyboard but left off the numbers?!??!!
Put this down for design flaw of the week!!

I have added the Smoky Monkey Factory KeyRotateHack which allows you to press a key several times to get it's func version (eg number of punctuation)
Works really well for 99% of the combinations.

Try Graffiti anywhere, it's free and you can get it from Handango, there is a review on Clieplanet

They didn't leave them off...you either hit "fxn" on the keyboard or "fxn lock", and then the top row of letters is numbers.

They left them off, you either hit "fxn" on the keyboard or "fxn lock" to get to your numbers. As most people use the Clie for a personal organizer, ie store phone numbers, ect, easy access to the number keys should be critical.
