Is anyone out there able to play the clie audioplayer using the internal speaker on the clie (ie. not using the headphones) at an audible volume? I could swear that my clie played loudly enough to hear it with the volume turned up without the headphones, but it has recently stopped being able to do this. It only plays VERY faintly - I can only hear it if I hold it directly against my ear.

Sony thinks I am crazy as according to them, you are only supposed to be able to hear audiofiles played on the 'audioplayer' software when you use the headphones.

Am I crazy or not??

Thanks for your input!!

I can on my T-665C, it is not very loud but I can hear it playing while it is on my desk. For some reason when I play MIDIs using sound uility they are much louder than MP3s using audioplayer.

I did notice something odd about it today, I had audioplayer playing in the back ground with the volume turned to max, then I started the demo version MegaBowling, the MP3 volume aproxamitly doubled. So it does look like there is a way to increase the volume some how.

Thanks for the input. I'm glad someone else can play music on their clie without the use of headphones. :)

I did talk to sony some more and I should be able to hear my audioplayer thru the clie speaker, but it still doesn't work and they can't figure out why......

Siggghhh.....

I am having the same problem. Sound volume of MP3's on my T665 through speaker is too low. I used 128M MP3. Anybody, please help!

Thanks,

Listen to how loud the sound is in cliedemo -- it's much louder than MP3's on my machine...
