As luck would have it, I tried it out first time yesterday night.

I bought a TH55 last weekend and I wanted to check out its video playback capability cf my NX70.

I tried ripping 24, season 1, episode 1. I was previously using Image Converter 1.0 with my NX70 but I switched to the TH55's 1.1. IC1.1 had no problem converting the output from Pocket DVD Studio but the output wouldn't play on my TH55. I haven't spent any time looking into why but I will either tonight or this weekend.

Hey George... Please keep us posted. I too am trying to get this to work. Using the right video codec, I can get IC to convert the AVI file from the DVD software. However, it looks like PQDVD forces you to use the one audio codec of their choice (???) and the audio is not compatible with Sony's IC. So for me what I resulted with was a MQV video file with no audio.

Last thing I've done recently is take the AVI and run it through VirtualDub to get a compatible audio codec IC understands, but then the new AVI file that VirtualDub makes is so damn big, so it's frustrating and there's just gotta be a better way.

Anyway, that's what I'm goin through right now. Please let me/us know here if you see a light at the end of your tunnel!

IC will recompress the file after you used vitualdub to add the audio codec. I get like 370Mb files with great sound and video on my TJ37

PocketDVD Studio is aware of the audio coding problem and has stated that they will add the ability to choose an audio codec other than MP3 in their next release.

In VirtualDub if you set the video to simply copy and only have the program change the audio I don't get a huge difference in file size.

PS - DVDx will do what you want for free. I've used it to grab the audio and video from a DVD and then run it through IC with no problems.
