Hey, all! I'm just wondering if there has been any success getting online or hotsyncing using the Zire 72 and WebPro, a USB Bluetooth dongle and WinXP Service Pack 2? I had a bear of a time with the Tapwave Zodiac using the dongle and SP2, but haven't tried the Zire 72.
So, anyone?
:D
Thanks!

I got Hotsync to work so far but it seems slower now with service pack 2. I haven't played around too much with web access because I never got it to work before and now with sp2 I dread it.

Using SP2 hotsyncing should work with no problems (though I haven't tried it) however, Microsoft's BT drivers are missing the necessary profiles to allow sharing your network to your BT PDA. I fixed it by completely deleting (after backing up of course) the MS BT drivers and reinstalling the WIDCOMM drivers. I've heard of other methods that allow you to do the same thing without having to delete the MS drivers (check Brighthand forums). The method I posted can be found at: http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?p=697987#post697987

alternate method which may or may not work (but you won't have to delete anything can be found at: http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1682&p_created=1093459414&p_sid=-4WEOtkh&p_lva=&%20p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX%3Cbr%20/%3E%203Jvd19jbnQ9MjkmcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9%3Cbr%20/%3E%20wcm9kX2x2bDE9JnBfcHJvZF9sdmwyPSZwX2NhdF9sdmwxPSZwX%3Cbr%20/%3E%202NhdF9sdmwyPSZwX3NjZl9sYW5nPTEmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWF%3Cbr%20/%3EyY2hfdGV4dD11c2JidDEwMA**&p_li=

Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out as soon as I get a BT dongle back again. I got rid of the one I had because I thought the drivers for it might have been the reason it was wonky.
I could get HotSync to work, then when I tweaked my Zodiac for web surfing, I broke the HotSync, and surfing would work. Then, I got it to the point where neither would work.
