View Full Version : The 1src Icon

Quite a few web sites provide a little icon (usually the company's logo) for the browser to use instead of the default icon (in Internet Explorer the default is that little blue "e" in front of a sheet of paper). This means that, at least for IE, the custom icon is displayed immediately before the URL in the "Address" box and also when you drag the URL to the "Links" bar you get the web site icon displayed on the link bar.

1src has a really nice icon in the top left of the page that would look really good in miniature form in the address box and on the links bar. Is it possible for the webmaster to change whatever needs changing so that we get that icon displayed in the browser or, failing that, could you post the icon file somewhere so that I can download it and explicitly associate it with the 1src item on my Links bar?

Thanks,

- Julian

Great! I had to clear the cache in Mozilla before it worked but now I've got it on my bookmarks toolbar too. :-)

Mozilla is a foundation that produces several different open-source (free) software programs. For the Windows operating system they make a Mozilla suite of applications (the actual Mozilla browser, an email client, html editor, etc.) and a stand alone browser, named Firefox.

If you want to try them out download and try Firefox. It is basically the Mozilla browser without all of the extra add-ons. The download link for Firefox is here (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/index.html).
