Help! Installed The New Plam Desktop And Now Can't HotSync!

I saw the post about the new Palm Desktop and decided to go ahead and do the upgrade, but now I can't HotSync. I tried reinstalling intelisync but that didn't help. I press the HotSync button and nothing happens.
Anyone here have a solution?

Uninstall the new palm desktop then reinstall the original that came on the CD. You can try and reinstall the new over it again.
I never had any problems with the new one, but I don't really notice a difference between the new one and the old one so just keep the old one.

I would recomened uninstalling and use the old one, any software tool that needs the Internet to be installed and also seems to cause 90% more problems than the original needs a reworking from the suppliers before I will reinstall (revert to the original) far less trouble:

List of bugs found
=stopped syncing with ir on laptop
=stoped recognizing pda
=changed address files
=dubious internet connection (assumed for hotsync)

And there was more, but I had uninstalled by then.

try a soft reset thats what i had to do
