I have noticed that some of the screws in back of my TH are rusting. I'd hate my TH becoming damaged because of the rust. Is this happening to others? If so, how have you fixed the issue?
Your inputs are valuable. Thanx.
Not mine (6 months of usage). Brush over with nail polish to keep them from coming loose in the future. I've heard people loose screws. Check this thread (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56146&highlight=loose+screw) for more detail discussion.

Ha, good referal post DanT! I just got done caulking mine with some Elmer's Clear Squeez-n-Caulk I had laying around in my garage. But mine is a Krussel case most of time...
However upon inspection I notice that the screw head under the IR port is beginning to have it's black coating rubbed off, possibly leading to the rusting screw problem...

Thanx for the info DanT. Do you or anyone else know if there is any success in calling Sony and get them to send replacement screws. I'd rather get new screws in place first before adding the caulk or the loctite solutions.

Augusta, you should know there is no success in calling Sony and getting them to do 'anything', much less sending a 2mm screw to every TH55 owner :)
