I'm having a lot of problems with my electric supply for recharging. I don't know if it is the piece that's a part of my Clie, the part that's on the Electric cord that comes from the wall, or that little inbetween piece.

When I get home and plug in my Clie the "being charged" symbol often doesn't come on. Then I have to jiggle the cord til it the "charge" symbol comes on. Then I lay the Clie on a clean flat surface and try make sure it doesn't get bumped at all. So far I've been getting enough charges but it's annoying, in a Clie that's only a couple of months old too.

Does anyone else have this problem? How did you solve it?

Have you bent the wires?

Try cleaning out the connectors to the CLIE, the chager units and retry.

There was a thread about this earlier if I recall, I'll do a search.

I have noticed it too sometimes but I use the retractable USB charger/sync cord. One at work and one at home. The orginal that came with the clie I keep in my backpack when I travel with my laptop. As long as I plug it in when I am not using it, it usually has power all the time. Just a hassle when you travel and forget to bring it with you.

It happened to me, then the cable went totally dead. I called Sony tech support and got them to send me a replacement, which should be here Monday. It was backordered three weeks though. Get them while they're hot.

I had the same problem with charging.
I fixed it completely by pulling the power cable out of the
connecting piece about 1/16".

I also have given up trying to log into this site.
I use IE and Firefox with accept all cookies and it tells me thanks
for logging in then shows I am not logged in at the next screen.
