I am using the PocketLink web browser on my NX-60. There is an option in PL to save a web page on my system as a PDB file.

When I save a webpage in this format, I can open it in PocketLink -- but there is no cut and paste capability or export capabilty to allow me to get the text off that webpage and into, say, memopad, where I can use it elsewhere.

Frankly, the more I use my Clie, and the Palm OS, I am surprised by the apparent lack of ability to open, view, and cut/paste pdb files between applications.

Is there a utility out there that is good at doing this sort of thing? If so, maybe someone can point me in that direction. I did try Handmark's "SuperUtility", but found it inadequate; even though it allows you to open and inspect an arbitrary PDB file, there is no way to export it to another app, or to cut and paste, or even edit it.

iSilo is the answer. It will open any Palm OS pdb file, and using the registered version, you can select sections of text, then cut and paste them into Memopad or WordSmith.  (Note, the freeware version does not permit cutting and pasting of text; only in the registered version can this be done. Excellent all-around tool; one of the essentials, I would have to say at this point!

you sure you can't just use the swipe to copy paste? it is the reverse of the enter key swipe (in otherwords bottom left to top right)
