Only short-term docs iSilo are in RAM, all others on 'stick (Incidentally, iSilo documents accounts for about 40% of the space used on my MS!! The next biggest at 30% is MP3s :))

No, to expensive. 512 MB SanDisk MS as ok. Used it for MP3 files but then bought an iPod ;)

Usually between 2.8MB to 4.3MB available in RAM, and approximately 362MB free on 1GM memory stick. Also have two 512MB sticks which are primarily a second RAM back-up and movie storage. I prefer to keep apps using conduits in RAM.

how does your clie softwares run ? in my th55 they need more than 20mb to run fast... good for example is picsel viewer...

lol GREAT survey! I went from my 16mb TJ-25 (11mb "useable") to the TH-55. Shortly before, though, I bought a 256Mb MS on a good sale. I figured I'd "never use this this much storage on my Clié" and promptly got the TJ-25 down to having 7Mb of RAM free and more than 75% of the MS free. I bought the TH-55 and thought "WOW! 32Mb?!?!?! This'll be GREAT! With the 256Mb card, I'll NEVER have to comb through a file manager to delete large files!" Two weeks and 30 WMA/5 videos/2 backups/30+ programs later, I'm thinking I need to start carrying my old 64Mb MS just in case LOL! :D

yes, i like also that th55 has 32mb of ram, those old times when i did use my zire 71 and then when i did buy th55 i was suprised about the ram...

I've got several large books loaded into ram so they'll 'go faster' . . . I only have 3mb. :(

I think it is good to have free space in ram for those apps that require a lot of free space in ram, but since you cannot copy anything else in ram other than .prc and .pdb files I dont think it is a good idea to have my apps in my Memory Stick, I prefer to have my apps in ram and having more mp3 on my MS.
