Sound issues with th55

does anyone know if the TH55 uses a different sound driver than the other CLIEs? I have noticed that on some games..bejeweled, columns, rifle slugs, would have nice sound on my old T615 but when have upgraded to the TH55, the sounds were just system beeps.

You should probably re-install these games. Bejeweled sounds great on a TH55. Also look for OS5 versions.

TH55 doesn't support MIDI unlike T615/T665 so games that used the MIDI system to play sounds will sound like crap. :(

However, the TH55 supports the native OS5 sound API so any game built for OS5 should sound great :)
Even the pre-OS5 Sony people can use CliePet's awesome MCA2 proggy to get OS5 API sound (In fact they get the best deal since their Clies support both Sony AND OS5 sound API (Including MIDI!) whereas TH55 only supports OS5 (And no MIDI *cries*)...)
