Hello,
I had never given any attention to "VFSi" image viewer because it only supported bitmap files.
However, I have found out that the ClieSource Application Files page is outdated, and that VFSi now supports JPEG viewing.
The same thing applies as with other JPEG freeware apps, ie it works on Clies that have the JPEG library included, and some Clies might need to install a library (search these forums for "JPEG").
The program is HiRes+ and supposedly works with OS5 as well. It has minor advantages over CrsImageView in that it has some extra commands like "previous" and "next". It does pan large images.
For JPEG, install the hwjpeg plugin. The translation seems to indicate that the one with "b" at the end is for OS5 only. I installed the other one on my NR70. The text plugin seems to be to support notes in the image's comment field.
As with many free programs, consider the program "experimental", ie there is no guarantee that it won't cause problems on your Clie (although it has been fine on my NR70 so far).
