Have trouble recharging Zire 72

:eek: My Zire 72 is having recharging problems. The recharger is plugged in and is connected to the Zire and it is showing the recharging symbol over the battery icon and the green light is on. However, when I pull the plug the the battery doesn't show the recharge. Can you help me? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks![/B]

I noticed this on mine a couple of times. I usually just ignored it or charged it more. Its fine though.

Thanks for the response but I think there must be something wrong with the battery meter. I recharge it like crazy but it flickers to various positions. Can a software/hack conflict cause this do you think?

Mine has currently developed the problem
ived hard reset several times and loaded nothing into it and ill charge for ever and it stays at 94%

Do a soft reset while charging. This resets the internal charger.

I did a soft recharging reset.
I did a hard reset.
I've sent the unit back to Palm.
I and the staples protection plan people think it probably is a hardware problem.

Well Just got my advance exchange unit and it has a dead pixel in the upper left hand corner i dont know if wether to live with it or ask for a other unit

Demand another one be shipped to you via advance exchange at no charge since they sent you a defective one!

Thats what i Had in Mind and by the way looks like they changed the gray paint on the palstic, iam guesing afix for the blue paint

called today and i got a really polite lady she was going to send a other unit free of charge and have them recheck it before it leaves the factory
and the unit developed wierd screen problem, when its of for longer than 10 minute and turn it back on half the screen goes black, turn it off and turn it on then the screen is normal
